The Other Solutions (Meridian, ID) announced NEXTimage, a new generation multi-function software scanner solution now available for wide-format scanners. With an intuitive user interface and advanced imaging features, the scanner solution intelligently corrects every scan for contrast, balance, and detail – which reduces re-scanning and increases user productivity. Providing true multi-function capability, the new software features integrated scanning, copying, and editing utilities.

NEXTimage software is designed to make advanced image editing simple, even for new users. Combined with GTCO Calcomp S Series and HD Series scanners, features like built-in color management, built in application printer drivers, B/W adaptive thresholding for monochrome cleanup, and advanced color matching with closed-loop or ICC color copying, NEXTimage helps produce copies that are often even cleaner and clearer than the originals.

Other time-saving functions like workflow presets for individual scanning jobs, automatic file naming, and multi-frame file clipping characterize NEXTimage.

The new NEXTimage Scan sells at $700 and the NEXTimage Scan and Copy software for $1,500.
