Metris (Leuven, Belgium) and Automated Precision, Inc. (API) (Rockville, MD) entered into a joint distributor agreement whereby API will become a non-exclusive distributor for Metris MCA articulated measuring arms and ModelMaker D/C handheld laser scanners. Concurrently, Metris will become a non-exclusive distributor of the API’s Tracker3 Laser Tracker.

The distributor agreement complements Metris’ product offering for large-scale metrology applications with API laser trackers. API trackers will be integrated in Metris’ IS&T (Integration Services & Technology) solutions. API offers its services developing, producing and driving worldwide metrology products that are designed to deliver high accuracy standards for coordinate measuring and machine tool operation.
